I went there last night on Friday with group of girlfriends. The food was great - Asian plate was yummy and fresh bread with rock salt butter was lovely - the atmosphere was cosy, the place was very busy but the members of staff were very attentive. In fact the members of staff were lovely and made us very welcome and looked after us well. Definitely would recommend and will go again soon.

Tried this place out for my wife's birthday and we agree that it is, pound for pound, the best restaurant that we have been in. Don't get me wrong, there is better food out there but when all things are considered, this is hard to beat. The food, atmosphere, staff and setting are all excellent and the whole experience is great value for money and great fun. It’s highly recommended.

What a great find, superb food, highly recommend the sticky beef starter, or as a main course, everything else is just as good. I just love Thai food. They have a Thai selection on the menu, amongst other great dishes.

Lovely. The owner/manager James is a joy, and always makes you feel welcome. A superb menu with some lovely touches. Relaxed, informal but of true quality. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, really reasonably priced too. Fantastic!

I went to The Punchbowl on the recommendation of Richard Bradford, and I am delighted to be able to say that not only was I absolutely delighted by the choice as it excelled in all areas - interesting and delicious food, well served and good value - but also the atmosphere was really enjoyable. Congratulations to all there and to The Restaurant Guide for finding it for me.
