Strongly recommended, wonderful food in a traditionally English setting, the premises have a Dickensian flavour, but the food is fresh, popular with local business folk at lunchtime, the lamb is particularly delicious.

Wow, what an amazing place it is so classically British yet with a modern twist. My partner and I went Friday night for a romantic dinner and really enjoyed ourselves we were seated in our own private booth; we ordered a lovely bottle of Chilean wine from their extensive wine list. I ordered the fish n chips option and was presented with a gorgeous piece of battered haddock. The staff were friendly and very efficient. All in all I had a very romantic evening and would recommend the restaurant to all.
