It’s a fabulous place and is great for Sunday lunch. They have amazing fresh food, gorgeous pizzas and pasta and a huge selection of cakes. It has lovely arty, bohemian interior and friendly staff.

I used to go to The Quarter almost every day when I was at university and it never disappointed me. Few years later, it is the same - delicious food, great atmosphere and fantastic service.

Lovely staff, menu, atmosphere and reasonably priced food and drink; what more do you want? Oh a large selection of tempting cakes. I will definitely be frequenting it. I took my mum and dad and they both loved it.

All the restaurants in Liverpool currently seem to be matching London prices. In many places, what is actually just a regular bowl of pasta is being sold at ridiculously inflated prices - anywhere between £9-£13, which is twice the hourly minimum wage and probably the reason why a lot people can't afford to eat out so often. I am pleased to say that The Quarter is not a sheep in this respect. They serve very decent bowls of pasta, excellent skinny-crust pizzas and a range of specials and salads to suit just about anyone fussy for a very reasonable price. It is not haute cuisine, they only serve fettuccine pasta and occasionally I have had a bit of avocado or tomato in a salad but it is good food for a good price. It attracts almost every kind of person imaginable with its casual atmosphere and mostly, friendly staff - Kate and Tim are fabulous. I definitely recommend The Quarter, it's a great place to eat and be sociable.
