We stayed there for two nights, and had the table d'hote menu on the first night and the a la carte menu on the second night. It was a superb meal on both occasions, beautifully presented and served in lovely surroundings. Not a scrap was left, tasty to the last morsel.

Medusa Bar and Restaurant - the address is Stevenage, Hertfordshire SG1 1DA.

I recently enjoyed an excellent lunch at the Hall, taking advantage of the extremely good value all inclusive menu - it certainly is ‘Absolutely All You Need For Lunch’ as it is advertised on their website. Service was prompt and unobtrusive and we were lucky with the weather and able to dine al fresco making the whole experience truly memorable.

I had the escabeche of sea bream followed by the calf's liver with lime and parsley mash and finished it off with a white chocolate and mint tart with dark chocolate sauce. All of which was washed down with an excellent glass of Macon Quintaine Guillemot. What more could I want!

A most enjoyable lunch. The service and the meal were impeccable. For a relaxed lunch I recommend Hintlesham Hall for people who enjoy good food, excellent service and amazing grounds and settings. Many thanks to the staff for a very enjoyable lunch.

Visited this restaurant for the first time in many years for Sunday lunch. The setting and hall are simply wonderful and is certainly a very special place to go. The dining rooms and lounges are unique. The starters and desserts were exceptionally good as was the service by the general staff. The little extras were also lovely. The downsides were that, for the money, the roast beef main course was only very average. Does anyone know how to make a good Yorkshire pudding anymore or cook vegetables properly? The other problem we had was that the Head Waiter was very grumpy and unwelcoming and desperately needs a charisma makeover. Despite its failings we still enjoyed our day.
