I was very at disappointed with The Old Mill. Sitting down in the restaurant at lunch time to a bar menu was poor. The waitress could hardly understand what we were saying. What got to me was the wine, which should have cost £22.00, instead £36.00, was just banged on the table. The steak was good though.

I recently had a meal at this hotel, the food was excellent as was the service. And a special thank you to Kayleigh for class A hospitality.

We ate recently at The Old Mill Restaurant and what a huge disappointment. The staff were impertinent and more surprisingly the head waiter was thoroughly unhelpful with helping regarding our dietary requirements. "You could have a piece of grilled fish but no sauce".
The drinks took ages to arrive and when they did they were spilt and splashed on the table. Our friend chose the vegetable terrine, waiter accepted the order, only to return saying it wasn't ready and we had to choose something else. He sadly choose a mousse which on arrival was an unpleasant looking mushroom mousse that resembled dog food.
Espresso coffee was weak and dish watery. I am not usually scathing about a place and accept that folk make mistakes and most likely would have accepted that they were having a bad day but the waiter was so rude and huffy that I had to write my first restaurant review, to stop others wasting money at The Old Mill. A real, real shame.
