We eat out in Teddington once a week, and over time have tried everywhere. No place matches Noel for their quality of cooking, the welcomes from the staff, and the sheer value for money. The starters always contain at least two choices and choosing is difficult but the salad of foie gras and green beans, and anything with a Parmesan crisp is very special.

Mains are great too, with fish dishes, duck, and rabbit as favourites. Desserts could be more adventurous and scrumptious, but by then I'm usually full. Wines are inexpensive and of good quality, like the Chenin Blanc and the Rosé de Provence, both under £15. A bargain before 7:30 but still under £60 for two later.

Restaurant Noel is practically unbeatable for the price and sheer quality of food. I've often dined in London's finest restaurants and they generally fall short on sheer taste and value for money when compared to Noel. They have an excellent selection of wines and the members of staff are always very friendly and accommodating of dietary restrictions like gluten free, or pregnancy. Do yourself a favour and make a reservation.

I agree with the previous reviewer and this place is simply astounding. The quality of prime cut meats, that is tasty and tender, fresh vegetables, refinement, the cauliflower panna cotta is to die for, and creativity, with unusual seasonings and sauces that enhanced but never obscured the main ingredients, of the food is unreal at those prices. The wine list is very good with delicious reds at reasonable prices. The service is efficient and friendly. This chef - catch him while he is still in Teddington. He'll be a celebrity one day.

This to me is simply the best restaurant in West London. It is by far the best in quality and value for money I've seen in years of eating out. I will go back again as their menu is constantly changing. Great service, amazing chef and every course is a true delight. To think it could cost you the same to eat at an average gastropub - no comparison.

Wow! I went to Noel's for the first time on Saturday and have fallen in love with this place. The food was delicious; we spent the whole evening passing forks of food around the table so everyone could taste each other's dishes. The members of staff were so friendly and recommended our wines without fault. The highlight was when Noel himself managed to escape the kitchen and found the time to sit with us over coffee, allowing us to grill him with questions about the food we had just devoured. What a patient, talented and dedicated chef. Ten out of ten!

If, like us, you were slightly put off by the decor at this restaurant, do think again because the food is probably the best you'll get in Teddington. What Restaurant Noel lacks in atmosphere it more than makes up for in the kitchen. With the sort of French food you find everywhere in France, but which is often sadly diluted in French restaurants on our shores. The service is professional, friendly and attentive, and all of our dishes, from starters through to desserts, were faultless and mouth-wateringly delicious. Apparently there are plans to give the interior an overhaul in the future, and once that's complete tables will be hard to come by.

Top quality service with friendly faces. Even though the restaurant was filled we didn’t wait long to be seated and to order, which was good. They display an extensive wine list and a great variety of drinks at the bar. The food was delicious; our starters of shiitake mushroom compote and chicken liver parfait were well balanced in flavours. For mains my wife had hake with a sweet potato puree, and I had the pigeon with fondant potato and a mix of seasonal vegetables. The pigeon was juicy and cooked just right, and the fondant potato had a soft and smooth texture. I had the creamy soft lemon posset topped with a raspberry couli. The prices couldn't have been better at £17.50 for two courses. We're definitely making another trip there very soon.

If you like good food freshly cooked, you should try Restaurant Noel in Teddington.

The menu changes regularly and the pork belly with mustard mash cooked in marsala is so tender, moist and just to die for! Soup of the day is always delicious and the passion fruit cheesecake is absolutely yummy. And the set dinner at only £10 for two courses is extremely good value. The staff are friendly and attentive. Get in now, soon you'll have to book 3 weeks in advance!
