I've not eaten there this year but have dined there several times for team Christmas lunches and get together. The service is normally very friendly and reasonably efficient. The portions are good and the food is very nice. It's hard to get the comfortable sofas afterwards as the place is so popular. It's a very nice location, nice staff and great food for a reasonable price.

I live in the centre of Warwick and therefore there are a number of culinary options. However, I have to say the Rose and Crown is consistently the best by a long way, the service is excellent and unobtrusive. The steaks are the best I've ever tasted. I have noticed that prices have gone up again, also disappointed that the bar area is still a smoking area. Nevertheless, go there and you will enjoy it.

I love this place. They have just refurbished and it now feels so comfortably decadent and cosier than home! Food is as excellent as ever and the atmosphere is chilled & buzzing. I challenge anyone to find somewhere better for food, price, service and feel unless you like calm and quiet! Can I move in?

I wish I could treat this place like ‘my local’ so that I could just turn up and eat whenever I wanted to, but sadly this place is always busy - I guess that's good for the owners though! The rustic antipasti boards are a delight to share, but better on your own. Wonderful food and at an appropriate price. Others have commented about poor service, but I have always found the (mainly antipodean) staff to be as helpful as the venue's physical constraints allows them to be. Without a reservation, allow plenty of time to dine and you will eventually get an opportunity so just enjoy some drinks and chilli puffs whilst you wait!
