The Seahorse is our favourite local place to eat as we live in Godalming. The food is just superb and it can be so hard to choose a meal, when every single item on the menu is so divine. We eat there regularly both with friends and the family. Sunday lunches are gorgeous, fantastic choice of drinks and cocktails and I personally love their tiramisu sundae!

I visited for lunch recently with eight members of our walking group having heard of this pub-restaurant’s refurbishment. We were very pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed the good and interesting food and excellent service. Fine range of beers too! Recommend to all.

This restaurant is fantastic and I would recommend it to everyone. The food is a little more expensive than you would maybe normally pay, but it is really worth it. All the food was presented well and tasted delicious. It is all freshly made, so what are you waiting for, go and book.

I had a meal with my wife on Friday and we both found the service and the food, excellent. The only negative comment was that we were sitting at the last table for two by the back door, behind a pillar, and I was knocked four or five times during my meal as, in my opinion, the table next to us, by the fireplace, was too close. We will definitely be eating there again.

I recently dined at the Seahorse with a group of friends. The decor is fabulous - a real modern spin on an old pub. When we arrived we was greeted by a young girl, who was welcoming and pleasant, who we later got chatting to and discovered that she was the manager. As for the other staff they were just as welcoming and helpful, without being too intrusive. They have a huge range on the menu, in addition to daily specials. We had a Greek mezze, a camembert and tapas to share as a starter, which were really nice. For mains, I had the duck magret which was to die for and the girls had a variety of pizzas, pastas and a spit chicken, which were impressive. The dessert menu was again fantastic; my favourite being the sticky rice pudding and the chocolate pudding, a close second. Overall, I am glad we went to The Seahorse and I will be frequenting the place more often now as there are so many nice dishes on the menu I still need to try.
