Brilliant! Alison Seagrave has to be the top chef operating in the North West at the moment. The service and wine was top notch as well. Surprisingly good value for this type of establishment and thoroughly recommended.

I recently went to the Harvey Nichols Restaurant for afternoon tea to celebrate a special birthday with my daughter. Everything was great - the cakes and sandwiches were to die for and the views from the floor to ceiling windows were fabulous, especially on a sunny day. The price was really reasonable too, £34 for champagne and afternoon tea for two. The members of staff were even helpful enough to arrange a birthday surprise. I'll definitely be going back.

Don't agree with Diane, average price for three courses when I went was £33 per head. She must have chosen some expensive wines. They start at £15 a bottle though. We had great food and service, will go again for sure and recommend it to anyone.

What a fantastic restaurant, we visited the Second Floor for a birthday celebration recently. The food was wonderful and the service was excellent. The place is so glamorous, I could stay there all day people-watching.

It is the best in Manchester. I cannot wait to go again.

It’s amazing, the food fabulous, with brilliant service, and it is by far the best place to eat in Manchester.

Hugely disappointing, very overpriced - £300 for four, chef has very heavy hand with salt!
Staff very friendly and helpful.
