I quite regularly visit the Siam Gallery with colleagues as it is close to our office. We have never had a bad meal there and we all feel that the prices are very reasonable and the service is fantastic. We have never found it slow, in fact we always go during our lunch hour so cannot afford for it to be slow. Siam Gallery, keep up the good work!

Wonderful restaurant - like a mini holiday! The food was fresh and tasty, and the décor was exotic and welcoming. I love the fairy lights surrounding the gardens. I have eaten at a chain restaurant for the same price as a meal here - and I know which I prefer. It’s a very romantic place for a first date, anniversary or a great place to visit with friends and family.

We would like to say that there no new owner; same owner has been there for eight years. The prices have been checked with other Thai fine dinning restaurants and they are competitive. Our restaurant uses only the finest and freshest ingredients. Our special offers make dining here incredibly good value. For the service all of our staff are fully trained and serve in a relaxed time as we do not wish to have our customers rushed.

We live locally and used to go to Siam at least once a week but once the owner changed in 2008, we immediately felt that it’s not the place we used to go. They charge a lot more for the same type of food and service is very slow. We won’t go back again - very disappointed.

I had been looking forward to trying Siam, although slightly put off by the prices on the menu, I thought it would be worth it. However, the service was slow - how long does it take to produce a bowl of rice in a Thai restaurant? And the portions were pretty small. The quality of the food was undeniably good and the wine, excellent, but there is simply no value for money there, which Thai usually provides.

We were celebrating a birthday and went there for a meal last weekend. We were met by the courteous staff and the house wine was fine and we ordered the food. Having had a couple of beers and two bottles of house, the bill still came to £180, which for the small child portion sizes was not what we were used to in the past. The food was gorgeous though and had I not been hungry, I would have been delighted. When I used their taxi service to go home, I found the drivers were on the mobile!

We are local to Esher and the Siam Food Gallery has been one of our favourite restaurants to take friends, with tasty, reliable food and service. Although it was expensive, the quality of food usually more than made up for it. We went there last night and were disappointed. The restaurant has hiked all their prices by approximately forty to fifty percent. The house wines were not available and had apparently been taken off the menu for that evening because they had run out. The Chablis was the cheapest available wine at £26. The food itself was disappointing, with meagre portions and poor quality - minced chicken instead of chicken pieces in a stir fry dish. We complained to the manager who was on duty, which we normally don’t, and were met with an indifferent attitude and were told the food was the same price in Thailand.

The Siam Food Gallery in Esher is very good. Although over priced, the food is tasty and the service is fairly fast. We seem to go here more regularly now. It was a little disappointing when they changed their uniforms from the colourful Thai style, to the dull brown at Siam Food Gallery. I’m going there tonight with high expectations as usual.

The food in the Siam Food Gallery is very good if a little expensive for Thai. I would, however, give the place a wide berth on a Friday and Saturday evenings when they attempt to squeeze in two sittings, regardless of the impact on regular customers. A recent visit resulted in seating in an attic room which stank of cigarette smoke, despite an advance booking, and protests to the duty manager were met with complete indifference. The nearby Thai Pagoda in Hinchley Wood is a good alternative with excellent customer service.

This is such a lovely restaurant for Thai food, the vegetarian selection is great and the staff are very friendly and welcoming! They also like to fill your glass with wine very regularly - I'm not complaining. Haven't found a Thai which can match this place!!
