I visited for my 60th birthday meal with my family. We received a lovely welcome with the staff being attentive but not pushy. The menu although not over long was very interesting. The all inclusive price for two or three courses was excellent with only the drinks coming on top. It is easy to know in advance how much your visit would cost. It was very good to see that their suppliers were listed on the menu most of them being local to Dorchester. The food was beautifully cooked and well presented. It was well worth their three AA rosettes. If I have a slight moan it was that there was no crackling on my double roasted belly of pork. It would have made the dish absolutely perfect. We all thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the wines, which went with it. It is very highly recommended, we would certainly visit again when we are able.

I see that I reviewed this restaurant favourably in February 2005. I am delighted to say that, on the basis of a luncheon there on 28 April 2007, and several others in between, it remains highly reliable, with that still-rare virtue (in provincial England) of consistency, careful selection of prime ingredients, and attention to detail, combined with skill in the kitchen and good service.

Outstanding food and wine complemented by a warm and friendly welcome. Attention to detail right across the spectrum. Go far out of your way to eat here.

If you are looking for exquisite food, a warm welcome and absolute attention to detail then Sienna is the place to choose. Since this restaurant opened it has never failed to impress on every level. The quality and variety of the menu persuades you to try new foods that would never normally be considered (I tried sweetbreads and enjoyed them!). If you come to Dorset then a visit to Sienna is a must.

A truly memorable experience! Eating at Sienna is a perfect blend of impeccable flavours, lovingly prepared and presented, with a keen eye and feel for detail which only enhances that sense of a special occasion, even on Thursday lunch time.

I had dinner on 8th April at Sienna and I was very impressed by the excellent cooking and marrying of flavours, and by the quality of service. Highly recommended.

I have been to Sienna about 20 times, mainly for weekday lunches. I have always found very good service and first-class fresh ingredients carefully and skilfully prepared to a high standard with absolute reliability and consistency. Strongly recommended.
