With knowledgeable and attentive staff, nothing is too much to make your visit to Storm memorable and outstanding. A relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with first class service and food that is utterly unfaultable. I had the baba ghanoush to start - tasty and beautifully presented - followed by sea bass - cooked to perfection and a very decent sized fillet. We finished with the 'piggy platter' - a selection of the homemade desserts to tempt and tantalize our taste buds. All were beyond heavenly and left us wanting to try all the desserts on the menu. The wonderful and unique thing about Storm is that the food is not stodgy but instead incredibly tasty and moorish and although we were the last table to leave, we were at no point made to feel the staff were waiting for us to vacate the premises. They were hospitable and accommodating to the end. I look forward with delight my next visit to Storm.

We visited Storm Fish on the weekend while on a day trip from north London. We read about the restaurant on the net, so we gave it a try. The food was excellent and the service could not be faulted. They serve good fresh fish, which is well prepared and presented. They closed at 2.30pm but as we only arrived at the restaurant at 2.00pm, we were there until about 3.30pm. The members of staff were still attentive and friendly. Give it a try.

We eat regularly at Storm Fish and it is the best fish restaurant in and around Dorset. The fish is always fresh, the dishes taste delicious and the homemade desserts are second to none. We always receive excellent service.

The first time we visited Storm Fish we were amazed as the food was wonderful, service friendly. We went on to praise and recommend them to friends. The second time we visited, it was a total let down and very embarrassing. The service was poor and the food was average. Our friends looked at us and wondered why they'd spent a lot of money on a disappointing meal.

My visit to Storm Fish was very pleasant. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and the quality of the fish is superb - so fresh. The fact that everything is homemade and GM free is much appreciated. I will definitely be going back.
Review by Hugh Richards (8 April 2006)
I visited Storm in Poole with my partner on 8 April 2006. Before selecting from the menu I ordered a half litre carafe of merlot. I was invited to taste it. The merlot was horribly acidic so I sent it back. I was informed by the waitress that the cost would be put on our bill. I took issue with this. The manageress came over and was extremely impolite. 'On this occasion you won’t have to pay for it'. We considered the manner in which she addressed us in front of other diners was both rude and condescending. We had been anticipating spending between £60 and £70 on our meal. There was no way we could stay there and left. We had an excellent meal further up the street with service which was polite and courteous. We shall not be revisiting Storm.
