We recently visited the Swettenham Arms and enjoyed fabulous food and exceptional service. We came last year and thought it was good, this time it was even better.

The Swettenham Arms is a firm favourite. My wife loves the lamb shank or the roast turkey, whereas I think the the ham hock with parsley sauce is just fantastic. Only 2O minutes away, but it's like a real oasis of beautiful grounds and old fashioned quality at very reasonable prices. A must for anyone.

We ate lunch there on Tuesday - helpful friendly staff and excellent food, which we didn’t have to wait for. We would recommend a visit.
