Absolutely brilliant - we have eaten there, both in the restaurant and their takeaway, since they opened, and have never had a bad meal. Superb, attentive service and there are no questions asked about the quality of their food and wine list. We highly recommend this place.

I ate there recently and found the food very good and the service attentive, without being in your face. There were excellent wine choices to go with the meal, and relaxed setting to enjoy everything in. I would say it is on the more expensive side, but worth every penny.

We visited the Tamarind Tree in early December. I am mad about Indian food and consider myself a bit of an 'anorak' when it comes to comparing restaurants. This was by far, the best one I have been to for ages, we have our favourite local one but as regards to others outside our area, this beat them all. The food was excellent, all of us thoroughly enjoyed the food we were served and the atmosphere was lovely, quite upmarket one felt! The people there were also very nice and made us very welcome. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys Indian cuisine.

Outside view of the hotel is impressive with lit columns and white exterior, inside is low lit with candles creating an intimate setting. The best thing about this restaurant is without a doubt the food, which was obviously freshly cooked the meat was tender and delicately spiced. Aubergine side dish was my highlight, often overcooked but my aubergines were firm and tasty I could have eaten a whole plate. The service from start to finish was good, prompt and polite. I would recommend the Tamarind Tree every time.
