The food and service were excellent. The lobster starter is out of this world. It is an absolute must if you are in the area.

We ate there to celebrate my mother’s birthday and the food was out of the world. Service was excellent in a warm and friendly atmosphere. I have recommended this restaurant to family and friends as its well worth a visit.

Have eaten here a couple of times on day trips to Plymouth. The food is fantastic, served with a cheerful smile. Worth every penny, lunch is no more expensive than at the national chain across the road, but is much more interesting. Do yourself a favour and give it a go. You will not be disappointed.

We make regular visits to Plymouth and always try to fit in dinner here. On our last visit the set menu was over 5 courses instead of 3, which just added to the enjoyment of the exceptional food that is served. The building dates from the 15th century and the interior has been set to embrace that ancient character. Disappointment is not something that is served here.
