It’s an excellent cure for my ‘London homesick blues’ when I am away from my home here in Texas. You'll have got to experience this little taste of Texas! It has great food, great service and a Texas experience. It’s the best Texican food east of the border.

Fun exciting evening with good Texas style Tex-Mex at decent prices.

It does what it says on the tin, so if you want some good quality Tex-Mex grill food, a decent atmosphere and a cocktail or two then this is your place. Its not top notch, but then neither are the prices. Overall, I was very impressed with my visit.

I pass the Texas Embassy everyday on the bus and stopped in the other day for dinner. The restaurant is what you would imagine it to be; brash, American and loud and the food definitely better than average. We had tortilla crisps and my favourite Tex-Mex staple ‘queso’ melted cheese with spices and for dinner I had chicken fajitas served sizzling with all the stuffing as well, I'm not a fan of sour cream so they gave me extra guacamole, which was great service and very tasty too. My partner had a steak with mash, which was well cooked and the mash was excellent. We shared a bottle of wine, though I was tempted to have a margarita too but I'll save that for next time. Service was also as expected from an American restaurant.

The Texas Embassy is a great place to stop in for lunch on the weekend with the girls for a great salad and a couple of cocktails. When the weather is nice they have a patio, which entices you to try a pecan pie or an ice cream too.

If you want a steak, margarita and proper tortilla chips, look no further than the Texas Embassy.

After a long day shopping down Regent's Street I was ecstatic to find a true blue Texan restaurant. I stopped in for queso and quesadillas at the bar, watched Phelps win a gold medal and had a margarita. Who could beat it?

I went to the Texas Embassy the other day and had a great night out. We had dinner at a quiet booth in the back and had a great meal of fajitas, steaks and chilli. The atmosphere was so much fun we moved to the bar for a couple of rounds. We were told about the live music on the weekends so we’re definitely heading back soon.

It was my first trip to Texas and I'll definitely be going back. The food was very good, the margaritas were excellent and our waiter was attentive. What a delight!

I had a great night out the other day with a group of friends at Texas Embassy Cantina. We had family style starters of flautas, nachos and quesadillas. Then for dinner we had fajitas all round. My friend is a vegetarian and the veggie fajitas were excellent - she was very impressed. We had a couple rounds of margaritas and all were excellent. We're already planning our next night out there.
