I visited Tinkers with five friends after a day at the derby. We loved the ambience of the restaurant as soon as we arrived and all six of us agreed to the fact that our food was first class, from starters to liqueurs.

This is simply the best restaurant in Croydon. It is small and intimate with friendly staff. The food is excellent, the seafood and steak being especially good, and it is well worth saving room for dessert. It may be a bit pricier than the other eateries in the area but it is money well spent.

This is an unexpected treasure in the midst of Croydon's bog standard restaurants. We wandered past a couple of times before popping in and are so glad we did. Such a lovely and unique restaurant, the food is just wonderful, and very well presented. It's got a great atmosphere and very attentive service. I’m going to book a table for this Friday as well!

I ate at Tinkers on Saturday with my fiancé, who was celebrating her birthday. The food was superb, cooked to perfection, well presented and one of the tastiest meals that I’ve ever eaten. West End standards dining and at an affordable price.

Unlike some of the larger restaurants in Croydon, Tinkers was compact and intimate. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive and made us both feel extremely welcome. We enjoyed a fantastic meal and I would definitely recommend it to anybody thinking about dining here.

Thank you Tinkers for a great meal, great service and a fantastic evening. We'll definitely be returning as will our friends who we will recommend you to.

Croydon has become a desert for good eating and Tinkers has plugged the gap. All the food is freshly prepared and good quality and this family run restaurant should be tried by everyone in the Croydon area (and beyond). Good for both business lunches and family events, even my mother in law was impressed!

Fantastic new restaurant in Croydon - the cuisine is what you would expect up in London but right on your doorstep! The family that run it are so friendly and bring a very relaxed feel to the restaurant, but with food to spoil you!

The chef is very accommodating and accommodated my exceptional dietary requirements, even sourcing special products for me. The decor is very classic, cosy and spotlessly clean. I think it is fairly new but definitely worth trying -- I am so glad I found somewhere different to go in Croydon!
