We ate Sunday lunch at Vienna and it was superb value. Three courses for £12.95 with starters of prawn cocktail or homemade minestrone soup, which were excellent and homemade wholemeal bread, which was simple, yet great in flavour. There was a choice of five roast meats; beef was medium rare, good choice of vegetable and crispy proper roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. Desserts of crème caramel and apple strudel were gorgeous, and large. I would not normally go to Vienna due to the cost of normal menu i.e. £16-18 main, but this menu was excellent and we were extremely full afterwards.

I went for meal at Vienna tonight, and was very disappointed. The vegetables were dried up, overcooked in microwave is how they looked. The main dishes overrated and overcharged at £18.95 for some tiny prawns and £16.95 for sea bream I could hardly eat. It’s a seriously over posh place that really does not live up to its appearance and menu prices.

This is truly a great restaurant. The food is wonderful and the service is exceptional.

I recommend this fantastic restaurant to anyone who likes to dine out. I even chose the Vienna as the place to hold my small wedding reception this summer and I must say that the whole experience was superb.

I was advised to book for a Saturday night and was lucky to get a table. The fish menu is amazing with so many choices that it was difficult to choose. I wish I could order what the other people were eating but was happy with my choice. Now I would like to go back to sample the other delights. They have a large selection of good wines and excellent service. It was an expensive night but the quality of food justifies the price. This place is as good as any top London restaurant and I recommend it highly.

We took my elderly parents to the restaurant on Thursday evening. The food with the exception of the sizzling tiger prawns, was excellent. but the service was poor. We will not be returning.

We have been to the Vienna quite a few times and have enjoyed the food immensely. The presentation and taste is fantastic, but unfortunately the restaurant lacks highly in friendliness and service.

We visited on Saturday, after a long absence and found the food very good. Our problem was the lack of welcome and standard of service left a lot to be desired. Our party would not book again.

What a lovely restaurant. Family run and wonderful food. The fresh fish was to die for. I will be going back very soon.

Had lunch there yesterday, 2 courses for £10.95. EXCELLENT quality and service and good portions too. Vegetables WERE free. Highly recommended!
