We had a very nice experience at Zinfandel - great food, good and friendly service with that little extra and fantastic desserts. The Slovakian waitress went beyond her call of duty to make us feel at ease. I'm booking a table tomorrow for our next visit.

I dined at Zinfandel with two friends on Saturday evening. The atmosphere was relaxed but the service was prompt and extremely friendly. We were served three courses of good quality food, we all had burgers as a main course, and the pudding was superb. The food there is interesting and unusual which makes a change from the standard Italian and French fare being touted nearby. My friends enjoyed the red wine they were recommended immensely and we will definitely return again in the near future.

I could be on my own on this, but Zinfandel was a major disappointment on a recent visit. Agree about the tables being too small. There’s hardly enough room for two at a small round table when eating a meal. Tables are squashed in by the door. All this would not have to be a major problem, but the complete unfriendliness of the people working there that day let the place down.

My wife and I always go to Zinfandel for lunch if we go shopping in Guildford on a Saturday. Not only is the food consistently excellent, the service is friendly. They really make you feel at home! We've taken friends there to dinner and also had a great experience. I like the originality of the menu with things like a different jalapeno coleslaw. Great place, great food, great people.

This is my favourite place to eat in Guildford. It would be a hundred per cent perfect if it had a bit more atmosphere, but the food is fantastic.

We ate there yesterday evening and had a great time. Started with one chicken liver and pistachio pate with grape chutney between two - delicious. Then we both had cheeseburgers - excellent meat and perfectly cooked. Haven't had a burger in years. If they were all like this we would eat far too many! Service was excellent - very attentive but not obtrusive. We live in Herts - just wish there were a Zinfandel closer to home.

Great food, oddly empty when I went there are few Saturdays ago - but there was some footy on or something. Pleasant enough atmosphere, if a little metro in feel - probably do this one again.

We had an excellent meal here. The service was friendly and efficient and the food good. The pizzas were very imaginative, with unusual toppings. Recommended!
