Zizzi - Leamington Spa Reviews

Went to Zizzi in Leamington last night and had a lovely meal. We were served promptly for each course, lovely atmosphere, polite waitresses and lovely food. Meal came to about £40 for two people which was 3 courses but sharing a dessert. Would recommend to anyone who loves italian food.

I didn't enjoy this eating experience at all. The service was dire, the food bland, tasteless and over priced and the pizza had no topping and could not even be cut with a knife. Everything seemed to be swimming in olive oil. Not a nice experience at all and not to be recommended.

I have been to Zizzi many times and I found the service and quality of food to be excellent. The staff are very friendly and are ready to cater for any special dietary requirements you may have.

We went to Zizzi at Leamington Spa last night at 7:30 pm to find the restaurant about quarter full. First impressions were good - the staff were friendly and seemed to be on a roll. The starters arrived and seemed quite basic – a piece Italian bread cut into four. We waited a long time for our mains to arrive. Finally we decided to leave as we were genuinely hungry. So we told the manager who apologised but wanted us to pay for our drinks and not the starters. I refused as the drinks were ordered on the premise of accompanying the food and we were let off this too. All we had ordered was a pizza and a salad.

They make the best pizza I’ve ever eaten outside Italy (especially the pizza tre gusti). The ambience inside is really Italian and the service is always been impeccable. They also have a very nice moscato wine as dessert (you need to deep the little biscuits - cantuccini) into the wine. It is our favourite restaurant at the moment and we go back at least 2 or 3 times a month.
