Crannag Bistro is situated in the Kyle of Sutherland, an area that's considered to be the least populated part of the country - this piece of information might be a drawback for a dining establishment but the advantages of it are many - the area is unspoilt, tranquil and very beautiful, attracting visitors all year round, and what could be better than to enjoy a meal in such wonderful surroundings?

The Crannag menu focuses on providing honest and flavoursome Scottish fare, all created with the best local ingredients. Signature dishes include Saval pork and garlic terrine, highland bavette steak, Tain mussels, Sutherland venison medallions and hand dived West Coast scallops. Regular curry evenings are held during the winter months, when traditional Indian thali dishes are served from the Caledonian Curry Company.
