An Old Schoolhouse building in Breakish, six miles over the bridge in the beautiful Isle of Skye, is the setting for Red Skye Restaurant. It aims to provide a relaxed dining experience, enlivened by chef Campbell MacFadyen's creativity with locally sourced produce.

Begin with seared pigeon breast with Isle of Skye black pudding, a tower of Skye haggis with neeps and or North Atlantic prawn and crayfish cocktail. The mains selection includes beer battered haddock with chunky chips and mushy peas, grilled pork and herb sausages, creamy chicken and leek pie and chargrilled fillet of beef with champ mash. End with white chocolate and Baileys cheesecake or a selection of Celtic cheeses with oatcakes and chutney. The brasserie also serves a range of soups, sandwiches, scones, salads and sides. On offer are a wide selection of wines and some local ales, including the restaurant's exclusive Red Skye Midge ale, brewed locally at the Isle of Skye brewery in Uig.
