Cruz
Actually, the brasserie description may be ever so slightly misleading, but not so as to cause any real problems. An old WW2 steam trawler, the ship has adapted remarkably well, and the gentle and occasional movement is mildly suggestive of a cruise down the Forth, though be assured Cruz never leaves her berth.

Cuisine d'Odile, La
Over ten years ago Odile Petre, clearly a very wise woman, saw that the best way to attract people to her French classes at the Institut Francais d'Ecosse was to appeal to their stomachs. She was, of course, completely right and all these years later her French cuisine is still combining with Scottish ingredients to delight her customers - oh, and the French lessons are doing jolly well too.

It is not just La France which weaves its spell amongst the stoves here. Scotland and pan European influences are also at work and very effectively too. Devil's Kitchen at The Voodoo Rooms
The stunning and opulent architecture of the Voodoo Rooms at times veers towards the sinister, an effect that embellishes the theme in this nouveau iconic bar in Edinburgh. Ornate ceilings, black leather banquettes and glass topped tables, otherwise innocuous elements of décor, seem to have a Luciferous attractiveness to them.

Dragon Way - Newington
The Dragon Way at Newington enjoys a reputation as one of Edinburgh's oldest Chinese restaurants. The traditional menu focuses on dishes from the Canton, Peking and Szechwan provinces.
