What used to be a garage is now a contemporary and spacious two-floor restaurant called PJ's India. Formerly called Panjea, the dining destination is situated in Charing Cross, Glasgow, and decorated in attractive lightwood and chrome.
Chef PJ and team create a range of classic dishes, served through á la carte menus and buffet meals. The much loved tandoori creations are served with basmati rice, salad and minted yoghurt or Indian gravy sauce.
Mains range from baked chicken apricot, a lovely steamed fish banana, and south Indian garlic chilli chicken, to the popular balti, karahi, jalfrezi, Mughlai, and Kashmiri curries. PJ's classics include patia, dhansak, popiaza, rogan josh and bhuna sauces, available with prawns, lamb, salmon, or chicken. The thalis are a great way to sample assorted specialities in small bowls on a round tray. A small list of European dishes is also served.
