Few would want to miss an opportunity to spend a few days at Gruline Home Farm, situated in two and a half acres of lovely pastureland, at a location which allows easy access to the whole of Mull. The welcoming Georgian non-working farm, run by Colin and Angela, is a wonderful place simply to relax, sample excellent food and watch golden eagles fly towards the clear blue sea.

Chef Colin is creative, uses local produce whenever possible and makes sure all food is homemade. Choices could include black treacle with walnut bread, cream of cauliflower soup with a hint of curry, smoked salmon blinis with a soured cream chive dressing, Aberdeen Angus steak Diane and sweet potato dauphinoise. Finish with spotted dick with a white wine sabayon.

They have been awarded 5 Stars by the Scottish Tourist Board, the award having been held now for the past 8 years, and have also received a Michelin Red Entry and an AA rosette.
