  • Avg. Cost Per Head Lunch: N/A, Dinner: £33.00

Creggans Inn, The

One of the more refreshing aspects of travelling in Scotland is that burst of optimism that overtakes the motorist as, after miles of conifers and vast expanses of water there suddenly appears what is clearly a hostelry of place and substance offering a promise of refreshment and relaxation, which after all are probably two of the reasons for being there anyway.

  • Address: Strachur, nr Inveraray, PA27 8BX (Map)
  • Cuisine(s): Modern, Scottish
  • Avg. Cost Per Head Lunch: N/A, Dinner: £38.00

Cul de Sac is a great favourite with students, who often drop in for a nightcap and chat after an evening at the cinema or possibly even studying. If you are looking for a quite romantic supper and you are under 25 this is probably not for you.
