Hare and Hounds can be found in the charming village of Old Warden, deep in the heart of Bedfordshire. Garden-picked vegetables, fresh fish and meats arrive each morning. The pub combines traditional flavours with a timeless and relaxed taste of its own to create dishes such as monkfish and tiger prawn Thai green curry, homemade pies, haddock in beer batter, Scottish black pudding, bacon rösti, and free range duck egg and truffle oil.

Since Hare and Hounds is a public house there's always an inspiring list of wines and beer to complement your food. It is not surprising that the pub has been chosen as Bedfordshire Dining Pub of the Year for three consecutive years, is 'Pick of the Pubs' in the AA Pub Guide and mentioned in the Michelin pub guide.

Step in to the white columned porchway and through the traditional Georgian front door of this graceful old building and you'll surely be taken back in time. The Moore Place is a delightfully restored Georgian manor house just 8 miles from the bustling centre of Milton Keynes.

The peaceful retreat has 63 modern, classic and manor style ensuite bedrooms, all providing the best in comfort and facilities. There is a collection of capacious conference suites, which can accommodate up to 40 delegates for meetings and private dining.

Choose between spending time on the sun-terrace or in the Greenhouse restaurant when its time to dine. Sharing platters of marinated olives, tzatziki, falafel and hummus, followed by chicken liver parfait lend a wonderful beginning to the meal. Chinese style crispy duck with pak choi and noodles or half a lobster salad with lemon mayonnaise could come next.
