The Michelin starred L'Ortolan is located in the beautiful Thames Valley, and is easily accessible from Reading, Oxford, Heathrow, and London. Owner and Chef, Alan Murchison has within this gorgeous listed building, kick-started a new approach to dining and the results have been outstanding. The à la carte, applaud-worthy yet uncomplicated, includes a line of modern French dishes that are eventually served in excellent presentations. The likes of poached lemon sole, with fragrant Thai broth and tempura of squid along with confit of organic salmon, pickled cucumber, grapefruit and samphire feature on the menu.
