Taking its name from the Reading Chronicle, whose home this used to be, the restaurant replaced the clamour of a busy press operation with the gaiety of people relaxing over a good meal or taking part in some of the events that are now a regular feature of this attractive cellar bar and restaurant.

Cilantro at The Millennium Madejski

Cilantro is back and how! This fine dining restaurant of the Madejski Hotel had been closed for refurbishment and diners had to settle for their brasserie, Le Café, which no doubt served its purpose well, but was not just quite the same.

Cinnamon Tree

Maidenhead residents can't seem to get enough of the Cinnamon Tree, a Bangladeshi and Indian cuisine restaurant, which arrived on the culinary scene in 2009. In just the span of a few months, it has become very popular with those who love the fiery side of Indian cuisine, tempered only by some of the fine wines and beers on offer.

Cornucopia Bistro

The word cornucopia is Greek for 'horn of plenty' and conjures up (in my mind at least) images of flowing wine, amphitheatres and hot men in togas. Unfortunately on our visit to Cornucopia Bistro in Windsor there were no hot toga wrapped men, but the wine, good conversation and beautiful food were all flowing in abundance.

Cross Keys Inn

Recently taken over (2007) by Tim Hamilton and Chris Prow after an extensive refurbishment, the Cross Keys retains all its ancient charm helped by the advantages that come with a major overhaul. The overall impression is of a rural pub across the road from the church, with a keen new team determined to bring customer satisfaction in an area where the competition is keen.
