Shampan 3, on Falconwood Parade in the Kent town of Welling, is a neighbourhood Indian restaurant that offers an eclectic menu of meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes. The third restaurant in the family-run Shampan chain, Shampan 3 maintains their commitment to providing excellent food in stylish surroundings.
 
Lunch or dinner could begin with mushroom cocktail, mushrooms stuffed with savoury minced lamb and cooked with eggs and bread crumbs, lamb chops marinated in spiced yogurt sauce, barbecued and served with salad and mint yogurt sauce or king prawn butterfly. Main course specialities include trout marinated and cooked in the tandoor; authentic Bengal fish massala and lamb panirwala, a dish of tender lamb cooked with cottage cheese in a medium spiced sauce and herbs. Alternatively diners could try the thali selection of tandoori chicken, sheek kebab, lamb bhuna, murgh makhani, sag bhajee and mixed raitha with naan and pulao rice. The vegetarian thali serves up sag bhajee, aloo gobi jeera, bindi bhajee, brinjal bhajee, onion bhajee and mixed raitha with naan and pulao rice.
