The Beetle and Wedge Boathouse is a splendid hotel situated alongside the river Thames, with a confident philosophy embracing an elegant dining room that has some of the best river views. Avocado salad with smoked chicken and prawns or local rabbit terrine and piccalilli make fine starters and a prelude to supreme of Gressingham duck, parsnip puree and red wine jus or fillet of sea bass with spinach and béarnaise sauce.
