The renowned restaurant, awarded two rosettes, specialises in seafood that is purchased fresh, each day, from the trawlers that land fish at the Brighton market. Feast on delights such as Atlantic brown shrimp with rocket salad, Newhaven lobster set on a court bouillon of vegetables; fillet of sea bass with butternut squash, sweet potato puree, pepper and orange sauce and samphire, and breast of Magret duck with plum sauce. There are excellent wines to accompany the meal and liqueurs, brandies and ports to finish.

Sussex Pad hosts wedding receptions, business meals and birthday parties in the function room that holds up to forty people.
