Whites Bar and Kitchen

Most listed buildings have a story to tell and there is a certain aura of mystery that once shrouded Whites, when it was believed to be haunted, but in 1946 it was completely destroyed by fire. Decades later, it's risen phoenix-like from the ashes, and now sits pretty amongst the lush green backdrop of South Downs, extending a warm invitation to diners in this historic market town of Steyning.
