Hallidays

Small 13th century listed thatched family run restaurant at the foot of the South Downs, yet another of these lovely little Sussex dwellings given a new lease of life, this time by chef, Andy Stephenson, and his wife Julia, who have owned it since 1997 and make it their pleasure to run a tightly-ordered, friendly ship, with thirty seats only in the beamed dining room.

Havana

The site of Havana restaurant has an illustrious past. The Duke Street Theatre was opened at the address in 1790. It became the Theatre Royal after a visit by the Prince of Wales in 1805. The Theatre Royal moved to its present location in New Road in 1806.
