Angel Inn

I was always under the impression that stern Welsh religion, as practised in many a Salem chapel, and angels, did not make theological harmony, but I could be wrong. Certainly the Angel Inn in Salem ministers to the needs not only of the village of that name but an also an ever increasing flock from further afield, fired up by the simple but judiciously selected lunches.

Angel Inn and Capel Bach Bistro, The

A wonderful Welsh medley of a hotel, former chapel and bags of atmosphere of that uniquely Welsh variety; all combining to make this one of the best of its kind in Carmarthenshire, even though the competition is not that extensive.

Barn Restaurant, The

The Barn at Brynich is set in a converted 17th century hay barn and was opened to the public in March 2003. Owned and run by the Jones and Maggs family, it is set around a picturesque courtyard where you can sit out and enjoy panoramic views of the Brecon Beacons.
