Durant Arms

A pleasant 18th century inn with offerings from some of the local artists displayed. Less artistic but just as important is the blackboard with the dishes of the day. The food is not over-exotic but it is very well assembled with the resulting flavours a real treat.

Under the ownership of Graham and Sue Levick, the former Inn has become a thriving community pub as well as being one of the better places to eat at in the area. Both Sue and Graham are very well known in the area, Sue had oreviously held Head Chef positions at Clovelly Golf Club, Orford Lodge and the prestigious Woodford Bridge Country Club, while Graham has run several of his own companies in the area as well as being in partnership with Sue at The Royal Oak in the same village.
