UNo Restaurant Description
A local favourite, UNo is a darkly elegant celebration of classic and modern Italian cuisine in the handsome residential area of Pimlico. This vibrant and welcoming restaurant offers dining over two levels, with a vaulted private room and a subterranean wine cellar on view through a circular glass floor.
The ground has beautiful, rich Makassar Ebony panelling that cover the walls, and transport you seamlessly to the more discreet Conservatory area of the restaurant which has chocolate brown leather complementing the black granite bar.
Specialities include black ink risotto with fresh squid, pan-fried duck breast with quince compote and pan-fried mussels with pepper, chilli and white wine sauce. The perfect way to end a meal would be to go for the cheese selection or choose homemade tiramisu or Tia Maria panna cotta with fresh strawberry coulis.

I ate at this restaurant recently and have never been so disappointed. The meal was ok but not exceptional. A wine was recommended, which was ok, for the £38 average meal and drinks. The waiter forgot to mention his recommended wine had a price tag of £42.50. Our bill for two courses, for two people, came to £111.50. This was meant to be a special occasion, which turned very sour.
