The old world charm present in The Unicorn Cafe has not been cleverly reproduced by an enterprising restaurateur to create that lovely laidback ambiance but is something that has been inherently present in the cafe from the time it began in 1991. The cafe is a throwback to that era where life was simpler and choices not as mind boggling. Of course, there are concessions to contemporary addictions too, for where would we be without Wi Fi?

Members of staff are polite and friendly and the food is simple and delicious and could include panini sandwiches with a variety of tempting fillings such as grilled eggplant with Swiss cheese or turkey with cheddar and red onion. Don't miss their range of baked goods and treats such as bagels, cookies, freshly baked muffins, cheesecakes and brownies and those who cannot do without their coffee will be overjoyed by the variety to be found there.
