Maya del Sol at Oak Park is an exuberant celebration of good food and offers a range of deliciously pleasing drinks. This Illinois restaurant brings a robust selection of pan Latin American cuisine which is perky and well balanced and diners seem to enjoy the flavorsome food enough to make it a popular hot spot in the locality.

Amongst appetizers, you could choose the sopes de tinga, crispy corn cups with savory chicken, roasted tomatoes, avocado and fresh cheese. For the entrée you could try the cochinita pibil, slow roasted pork in an achiote marinade, served with pickled red onions and black beans. While other favorites of course include the arepa con ropa vieja, a  Cuban style stewed beef with Colombian corn cake and yucca frites. Colorful and fresh margaritas and mojitos populate the drinks selection along with sangria, beers and wines. Desserts are invariably decadent with the chocolate mousse cake infused with kahlua topping the list.
