Started by Myron Roth, the Green Mill Inn began as a soda fountain in the early 1930's and has continued as a thriving neighborhood pub over the intervening years. In 1975, Chris Bangs, Larry Cardoni, and David Bicanich purchased the Green Mill. Within a year, armed with Cardoni's family recipes the group introduced its now famous Chicago-style deep dish pizza. In 1990, Chris Bangs teamed up with Todd King and formed Green Mill's franchising company and expanded to over thirty locations throughout the Midwest.

Among the award winning pizza options try jerk chicken, mozzarella, diced bacon and red onion, roasted peppers and green. A classic Black Angus quarter-pounder and wild mushroom bacon Swiss are good choices among burgers. Chocolate molten cake with vanilla ice cream covered in homemade chocolate cream sauce, topped with caramel, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream is one amongst the many temptations that confront you towards the end of your meal.
