The Daniel Packer Inne has stood as a proud sentinel for more than 250 years and even today, it epitomizes the hospitality that it's first host, Captain Daniel Packer, lavished on weary travelers who were passing from New York to Boston or probably vice versa. Located on the banks of the Mystic River, it has undergone a fair number of historical restorations and today it is a well loved spot for some fine New England dining.

The focus of the menu lies largely on seafood and you can expect to find appetizers of grilled mussels packed with garlic butter and seasoned breadcrumbs, followed by pan sautéed lemon peppered chicken or sesame crusted yellow fin tuna over stir fried vegetables. The desserts are enticing with delectable confections such as the Bailey's chocolate pots de crème, and the range of fine wines is extensive with a number of contemporary wines as well as classics from France.
