Established in 1990, Bintliff's American Café is a much-loved spot for those Portlanders who'd like a taste of world-influenced American cuisine. In the warmer months dine on the deck and patio nestled under the canopy of a wizened Norway maple.

The kitchen team headed by Chef Michael Liotard work in tandem with local farms and businesses to create interesting dishes presented with élan. The menu highlights tomato fennel seafood bisque of fresh scallops, crab, white fish and lobster stock with cream and a touch of spice, and apple wood smoked bacon frittata with broccoli and red onion sautéed with three eggs, topped with Swiss cheese and finished in the oven.

An Acadian omelet of Andouille sausage, red onion, baby spinach and pepperjack cheese served at breakfast could be just the right way to start your day.
