The Naked Oyster Bistro and Raw Bar in Hyannis features locally grown and produced products including Cape Cod day boat fish and vegetables from several local farms. Oysters and quahogs are grown on their own sea farm in Barnstable. The food is creatively prepared yet not overly complex and service is professional but personable.

After ten years at its prior location, The Naked Oyster has moved to 410 Main Street and the interior comprises exposed brick walls and artwork by Sarah Holl. There is also a bistro area in the front and a separate quieter dining room. For those who'd like a view of the street there is outdoor seating and a wine room for private gatherings of up to twenty.

An extensive and very well priced wine list focuses on West Coast and French wines carefully chosen by owner Florence Lowell, a native of the Bordeaux region of France. There is a mahogany bar where many choose to dine while enjoying a frozen bellini, a great martini, or one of the many quality wines available by the glass.
