Sal's Place on Commercial Street is a Provincetown legend, going by the number of years that they have been serving delicious Italian food to locals and visitors in their delightful seaside location. The vine covered arbor which leads inside the restaurant creates a restful ambiance and don't be surprised if you feel like you're on the Amalfi Coast yourself. Diners can sit on the deck overlooking the water or in one of the two indoor dining rooms where chianti bottles create a bower of sorts.

Owners Jack and Lora Papetsas are passionate about good food and fresh, local ingredients, a fact that translates well into the dishes on hand. Speaking of which, some of their specialities would undoubtedly be their 24 oz rib eye with black and green mushrooms in a red wine marinara sauce or the shrimp penne with a light, creamy sauce with herbs, ending on a sweet note with the tiramisu.
