The Blue Bottle Café run by the husband and wife team of Aaron and Rory Philipson emanates a Mediterranean-like charm with blue bottles lining the white walls of the room. The three dining areas, which are bright and airy, can accommodate any number of guests, and the decibel level can be a touch higher on days when they are fully booked, but this only adds to the general bonhomie.

You may find the seasonal menu brimming with some interesting dishes such as Nova Scotia mussels with billi bi broth, saffron and grilled crostini and tomato bisque with smoked cheddar and brioche croutons. A main course of pan seared fillet of Arctic char is teamed with Israeli cous cous, carrots, baby golden beets, broccoli florets and guava butter sauce.

In their endeavour to support the green movement, they encourage local farming, naturally raised meats and sustainable agriculture.
