R. S. Jones was a dream fulfilled for Margaret Mueller and Carole Olkoski who were keen on designing a unique restaurant where people could unwind within comfortable and cosy surrounds with typical country music to give it that special feel. Their motto more or less says it all 'the food changes, the people stay the same'.

The opening dishes on the menu feature picadillo, an exceptional blend of fresh ground beef and pork, sautéed with onions, tomatoes and slivered almonds served with plenty of tortilla chips, or sweet potato pancakes. The 'big eats' are drawn from amongst chicken fried steak served with mashed potatoes and plenty of cream gravy and Rocky Mountain rainbow trout pan-fried with butter, and more. For those with a passion for homemade pies, try the holiday versions from R.S. Jones, like the key lemon, a twist on the traditional key lime baked in an oreo crust and the berry berry good which is blueberry, raspberry and strawberry baked with a lattice top.
