Serving a varied mix of Mexican and American cuisine, The Hacienda is a quaint little restaurant set in a restored old mansion, which attracts people of all ages for the quality of food served which is fresh and varied. The décor is very simple and relaxed, with long tables, spacious seating and colourful walls decorated with pictures and other assorted fixtures. The atmosphere and mood reflects the festive Mexican spirit as seen in the colourful furniture and costumes sported by the waiter's.

The food is homemade and consists of Mexican specialities of flautas filled with meat or chicken served with guacamole and sour cream; tosadas with beef or chicken served with lettuce, tomatoes  and tamales of cornmeal stuffed with chicken. Other specialities include camarones vallarta with shrimp stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon; pollo Mazatlan, a dish of chicken breast cooked with sweet peppers, mushrooms and onions; and dishes of shrimp sautéed in garlic with green tomatoes and spices.

Desserts of sweet chimichanga stuffed with banana and syrup and ice creams can be enjoyed by both children and adults alike.
