Although the menu is weighted towards rustic Mediterranean cuisine there is a striking exploration of international flavours in dishes such as the Kobe beef ravioli and veal jus with Marsala wine and mushrooms, or grilled octopus salad with fennel, scallions, fingerling potatoes and olive. A tempting entrée selection includes traditional favourites like chicken Milanese with baby arugula, tomato salad and fresh mozzarella, parmesan crusted halibut with tomato 'concasse', chives and white wine reduction, and certified Angus NY strip steak with potato frites, parmesan and truffle aioli.
United States and Italy happily rule the wine list at Aurora Ristorante with some great value wines available by the glass.
