Arno Ristorante (New York)
My party of four dined at Arno's on Monday night. The food was excellent and the service matched the food quality. The waiters were extremely friendly and attentive and were constantly looking out at the tables to ensure that everyone was okay. My only personal wish would be to see a more comprehensive variety of starter dishes. Very unusually for my party, but none of us found anything of interest on the starter section of the menu and even the day’s specials left us wanting a better choice. We were left just selecting main courses. The sweet trolley had a superb range of mouth watering choices. The setting and décor were superb as well. Prices were excellent for the quality of food. All in all, great value but they could do better with the starter choice and price and it’s also worth mentioning that the pasta choice of main courses was very limited. I would definitely dine there again.
Avanti's Pizza Restaurant (Mystic)
No matter how many new restaurants open up in Mystic, I always go back to Avanti's. You really can't beat the friendly, efficient service and cleanliness. Try their seafood dishes, you won't be disappointed.
Cafe Creekside (Gahanna)
Great Sunday morning breakfast! My daughter and I waited just a short time and were seated by the window and experienced efficient and super friendly service. Our waitress graciously took my daughter's rather complicated order of one slice of rye and one slice of white toast with only one egg instead of two and served it promptly just as ordered. Everything was really delicious and hot. We agreed that we'd give Café Creekside five stars for delicious food, friendly and efficient service, and down-home environment.
Sevis Burritos (Wichita Falls)
Sevi's is a great place to eat good Mexican food. The enchiladas are the best and the menu is even better. We always make it a point to stop there while in town.
Kadok's (Daly City)
What a place! The best and most authentic Filipino food in the Bay Area - you must check it out.
Harry Caray's - Rosemont (Rosemont)
Three words - A-May-Zing. The best steak dinner I ever had hands down. There’s a great old steakhouse feel to the dining room with all the old pictures on the wall and really knowledgeable staff. I wanted to have some wine with the dinner but I have to admit that I really know nothing about wine, and they were able to point me in the right direction, to a bottle my friends and I loved. Overall we had a really great time and will surely be back soon.
Polito's Pizzeria Restaurant (South Bend)
Polito's Pizzeria has the best pizza of all time in South Bend. In fact, Polito's is the phoenix of Pizza because their original pizzeria got burned down and from the ashes they arose, to continue making their great high quality, superbly crafted pizza pie. Trust me, you have not had a deep dish pizza till you have had a slice of Polito's deep dish, one slice is the size of your face!
George's Coney Island (Auburn Hills)
The best Coney Island in the Detroit area – the food is super and the owners and clients are very friendly, it’s a good place to see some local sports celebrities.
Anthony J's Bistro (Mystic)
I stopped in for lunch on Sunday afternoon and had a very good meal. Started with the veal meatball appetizer, the meatballs were melt-in-your-mouth tender, not overly seasoned and the sauce was light and fresh tasting. We split a spinach salad, which they nicely put on two plates for us without our asking them. My husband had the Bolognese which was very good and I had the veal parmigiana special, which was a nice portion for the price. The homemade cannoli for dessert was served with pools of red raspberry sauce outlined with chocolate sauce that really perked up a classic dessert. The atmosphere was cozy and the wait staff were friendly and attentive. We would definitely go back.
A-1 Diner (Gardiner)
I love this place. It’s a beautiful 1940's diner serving great classic food and I was pleasantly surprised to see vegetarian, ethnic and regional specials as well. I had a killer burger made from local, all natural beef served with hand cut fries and the best homemade onion rings I have ever had. Save room for desserts as they are all homemade, the cookies and chocolate cake were out of this world.
