Pleasant Valley Inn (West Allis)
This place should be called ‘Pleasant Surprise’! It's a cozy restaurant nestled in the middle of a subdivision but it's very easy to find. Just four blocks north of Oklahoma Avenue and 99th street. Although, it could be easy to drive right by - don't do it. Stop in like we did and trust me - you won't be disappointed. Last week, my husband and I each had a cup of their seafood bisque soup which was to die for, and a steak sandwich with French fries - awesome! We went back to try their fish tonight and we both loved it. He had the fish fry and I had the baked so we could try both - now I don't know which one to order when we go back next week. We both ordered it with a vegetable - it was summer squash and zucchini sauteed with onions and I could've eaten that alone for my meal. It was not too crowded either time we stopped in, and that surprises me - this place gives great service, has a great atmosphere, and the food is first-rate. We found our new favorite spot and wanted to let others know what they're missing.

Cafe Miranda (Rockland)
Very eclectic cozy atmosphere. Fired food gives dark flavour to the enchilada's tomato sauce and dark colour to fries. Pricey but tons of food - so you leave very satisfied with just an entree. I want to go back and try the seafood cakes. The haddock in the enchilada was wonderfully fresh.

Lakeview Golf & Pizza (Hayward)
Lakeview Golf is a fantastic Public 9 Hole - Par 3 Golf Course with a full service restaurant and bar. They specialize in homemade pizza which is just delicious. My favourite appetizer is the ‘Chippers’ - homemade potato chips! The owners are super friendly. We go there to eat and golf time and time again. I highly recommend it.

Debs Spicy Pie (Morgan)
Debs Spicy Pie is an amazing pizzeria. They have sub sandwiches, soups and ice cream. If you like pizza and then wish to have some ice cream, Debs is the place for you.

Frankenmuth Brewery (Frankenmuth)
We have been to eat at Frankenmuth Brewery several times. They have a variety of foods - from pizza to seafood. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. They make their own beer and have several selections from dark to light beer. Great place to eat! They also have a patio outside on the upper level from where you can have a beautiful view of the river and other parts of Frankenmuth.

Pizza Inn - Durham (Durham)
Very pleased - we have been there three times, food is great, service attentive and buffet could not be better. Clean and attractive inside, I believe North Durham could handle another just like this one. Great staff. Thanks, from a North Durhamite of over 70 years!
