Cedarland At the Clinic (Cleveland)

We are from Columbus, OH and enjoyed several very good Middle Eastern restaurants in our area. So, on a visit to the Cleveland Clinic, we were quite excited to have discovered Cedarland. However, the food was not only disappointing, it was virtually inedible. I had baked kibbe on rice. The kibbe was extremely dry and flavorless. I think the rice was of the instant variety. My daughter ordered baba ghanoush with pita. The pita was not the fresh, warm variety that is grilled on site and served warm, but instead was placed on our table in the original plastic bag they purchased it in. The pita was thin, room temperature, and not fresh. The baba had a faint chemical taste. The whole experience was disgusting.

Adelante Mexican Food (San Antonio)

I found this restaurant by googling ‘healthy restaurants San Antonio’ and thought healthy Mexican food might be an oxymoron. However the restaurant, located in Alamo Heights was easy to find and very well decorated in bright colors, paintings and globes. The menu is very large, and I immediately found about four dishes I wanted to try. I settled on feta cheese taco with salad. The salad was great, with all sorts of different colors and textures. The taco seemed like a sort of quesadilla, with a flat whole wheat tortilla on both the bottom and top, filled with eggplant and other vegetables and several different cheeses. It was very flavorsome and I ended up bringing half of it home. I’m not sure if it was a low-cal meal, but it certainly was tasty. My friend ordered the spinach quesadillas, which looked more like tacos, served in curved shells. It came with brown rice and black non-refried beans. She said it was very spicy and delicious. I'll be back to try some more dishes soon.

Paul Revere's Pizza - Winfield (Winfield)

This place is so much better since it has changed owners. Lower prices, better food, and expanded delivery.

Harry's Savoy Grill & Ballroom (Wilmington)

Harry's is the best restaurant I have ever eaten at and I have been eating there for over ten years. I only get to Delaware on business, but I eat there every night I am in town. I live in Alabama but have been to many steak houses that claim to be able to cook prime rib, but no one even comes close. The thing about it is the service, which is just as awesome. Do not pass up the opportunity to eat at Harry's.

This is a marvellous little place. From the excellent service to the terrific food at very reasonable prices, do not miss this place. Be sure to have dessert too.

Le Gourmand (Seattle)

Bruce Naftaly, owner-chef of Le Gourmand was sourcing local, organic, and home grown herbs, produce and meats long before it was trendy. He uses the best this area has to offer and creates amazing food in a classic French style. His tasting menu is a bargain at $75. The sommelier knows his stuff and will set you up with some great pairings. Save room for Sara's desserts, too. I can't say enough about this place - it's simply great.

Piggy Sue's (Monticello)

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Arkansas. It has a wonderful family atmosphere and the food is good family food that you can sink your teeth into and really enjoy. My favorite is the brisket beef and the brisket pork sliced deli thin. I also love the chicken fried steaks and their chef's salads. But, it's all good. The service is always warm and friendly.

Sergio's (Massapequa)

I attended my sister’s baby shower there and this was the most rushed place I have ever been at. The shower was from 12 to 4pm, the soup was served, and then salad followed by pasta and lunch. Then instantly after that the cake was put out at 1:20pm and rushed us to cut it up. Then they served us coffee and by this time it was only 1:30, meanwhile we had another two and a half hours to go. At 3:20pm the people came in and took all the sodas and drinks and started cleaning up the place while we still had another 40 minutes. They had another party at 4pm. We got yelled at for moving the air-conditioning vent saying we could not afford it if we broke it and then insisted on opening the front door facing Merrick Road while two toddlers were there. The food overall was not that bad, but the service and the rushing of the owner and the employees was just unacceptable and not fun to be around, caused more stress then it was worth. This was supposed to be a nice day. So think about this place first prior to booking your next party there.
